A direct TGV from Roissy Charles de Gaulle Terminal 2 (CDG2) to Orléans "Les Aubrais" station departs at 18h59 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays (subject to modification). For travelling from Orléans to Roissy Airport, a train departs on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays at 10h29 (station “Orléans les Aubrais”) and arrives at 12h02 at Charles de Gaulle Airport.

By train RER B / RER C and subway:
Take the free shuttle driving you to Roissy terminal to the RER-SNCF Roissy station. There, you can buy on RER automatic machines your ticket (around 9.75 €) and take line B4 or B2 (heading to Antony- departure every 10-15 minutes, and twice all 15 minutes during peak hours, from 5 a.m. to midnight). Then: - Get off the train at the “Saint Michel Station” and take RER C6 heading to “Saint Martin d’Etampes” until the next station (Austerlitz).
- Or, Get off the train at the “Gare du Nord Station” and take the subway line n°5 heading to “Place d’Italie” and stop at Austerlitz Station.

By train – Orly Val and RER B:
At the airport, buy an Orly Val ticket to the RER automatic machine (11,65 €). Take the automatic subway line “Orly Val” and get off at the Antony Station. Orly Val is running from 6 am to 11 pm. Departure every 4 to 7 minutes. Then change for RER B heading to “Paris” (Aulnay, Mitry, or CDG Airport). RER B train is running every day from 5h44 am to 0h44 pm.

It takes approximately 35 minutes to go to Paris. Get off the RER B at “Cluny la Sorbonne” and take the subway line n°10 until the Austerlitz station.

It takes about one hour to go from Paris to Orléans by train. When you get off the subway or the RER train, follow the signs “DEPARTS GRANDES LIGNES”. At the train station, buy a ticket for “Orléans”. Normal price: 20.60 €. Remember to punch your ticket (yellow machine) before you board the train. You should think about precising if you are less than 25 years old when buying your ticket, price is lower in that case . Please, be careful, there are 2 stations at Orléans: "Les Aubrais Station" and "Orléans Station". You should get off at “Orléans Station”. If you unintentionally got off the train at Les Aubrais Station, you could reach “Orléans Station” by taking the Tramway line A (one trip: 1.50 Euros). This Tram line is same as the one which carries you from Orléans' downtown to GD2014 conference site. |

The simplest is to get off at the Aubrais station and take the tram to Orléans or directly to the university (Link to campus map). The Gare d'Orleans or Aubrais: Orleans, linked to Paris towards the southeast by the Paris-Austerlitz station, has two stations: "Orleans" and "The Aubrais". From Paris-Austerlitz train frequency is at least an hour to an hour away. When you get off the subway or the RER train, follow the signs “DEPARTS GRANDES LIGNES”. At the train station, buy a ticket for “Orléans”. Normal price: 20.60 €. Remember to punch your ticket (yellow machine) before you board the train. There are about 5 trains (at least one per hour) serving one of these two stations from Paris 30 every morning from 5am to 10am, and at least as many evenings in the opposite direction, between 16:30 and 21:00. The journey between Paris and Orleans lasts about an hour. |
