Welcome Reception

Sunday July 6 welcome reception at the campus of the University of Orleans (18h30 à 20h).

Tuesday Wine and Football

Tuesday July 8 – A reception is organized downtown to taste some french wines at Club15 in the hotel of Janot le Bouteiller, sommelier of the king François 1^er. At the same time, there will be the first semi-final of the FIFA World Cup.

This evening will be (The number of places is limited to 150):
8pm – 10pm: Wine and Buffet (free of charge for delegates and your guests)
10pm -12pm: Watching together the match in a separate room (drinks at your expense).

Conference Excursion

All conference attendees are invited to take part to one of the two conference excursions on Wednesday 9 afternoon (the choice must be done at registration).

• One will be dedicated to the visit of the royal Chambord Castle (Château de Chambord). Chambord is the largest castle in the Loire Valley. It was constructed by King François I (XVIth century) in very distinct French Renaissance architecture style. This visit will be followed by an equestrian show with riders costumed entitled « In the forest history ».

• The second one consists of a historical tour of the Orléans city, from its magnificent  Sainte-Croix cathedral  to the crypts of St. Aignan and Saint Avit, and through the old streets.

Conference Banquet

The GD2014’s banquet will be held in « Chateau de La Chesnaye », located at 30 min from Orléans, on Thursday 10 evening. (MAP HERE)
